Cotton is cultivated in Brazil and Peru by associations that respectpeople and the environment, according to fair trade principles. InBrazil, cotton is organic and agroecological. This agriculture enrichesthe land after being cultivated by improving the diversity of speciescultivated and water retention in the soil. In Peru, farmers growcertified organic and regenerative cotton. They receive support in theircertification process and receive technical and financial assistance toimprove their production.
